First of all, most major markets, including the U.S., will be closed on April 7 (Friday) for the “Good Friday” holiday.

We are focusing on major economies worldwide, e.g. the U.S., China, Australia: 





On Friday (April 7), the closely-watched U.S. Official Jobs Report for March will be released. According to Multi-Stock Trading LLC's "Economic Insight", the economy added 250,000 Non-Farm Payrolls in March with the Jobless Rate ticking down to 3.5%.




Multi-Stock Trading LLC'sEconomic Insight” also shows that, in the past 12 U.S. Official Jobes Report, EUR/USD rose in 50% of times (6 out of 12 times) within one hour from the release, marking a trading range of 66.31 pips on average.



Other key economic data include:


Monday (April 3)

- Japan's Tankan Large Manufacturers Index is expected to drop to 1 in the first quarter.

- China's Caixin Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) may rise to 52.2 in March.

- U.S. ISM Manufacturing PMI is expected to rise to 49.0 in March.  


Tuesday (April 4)

- Australia’s Central Bank is expected to keep its benchmark rate unchanged at 3.60%.

- Germany is expected to report a larger Trade Surplus of 17.4 billion euros in February.

- The Eurozone’s Producer-Price growth should decline to 13.8% on year in February.

- U.S. Jobs Openings could be little changed at 10.80 million in February.


Wednesday (April 5)

- New Zealand’s Central Bank will announce its interest rate decision.

- China's and Hong Kong's stock markets will be closed for the Qingming Festival.

- U.S. Trade Deficit may grow slightly to $69.0 billion in February.

- U.S. ISM Services PMI is expected to decline to 54.0 in March.


Thursday (April 6)

- Australia's Trade Surplus may climb to A$12.2 billion in February.

- China's Caixin Services PMI may slip to 54.8 in March.

- German Industrial Production growth is expected at 0.4% on month in February.

- U.S. Initial Jobless Claims are expected to rise to 205,000.


Friday (April 7) 

- Markets in the U.S., Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., the Eurozone, Germany and Canada will be closed for Good Friday.
